Chart notes
CLASSIC EXPRESS dueled early, took back and chased the leader down the backstretch, bid on the far turn, dueled and was clear under steady urging. SON OF A MAN dueled early inside, bid on the first turn, went clear, was caught on the far turn and dueled but couldn't last. BUCKLE UP was unrushed inside, bid on the far turn along the rail, then couldn't close late. GOVERNOR RON stalked the pace between foes and improved position late. CHARMING VICTORY was off awkwardly, saved ground, bid at the half-mile pole, angled to the three path at the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch. HITCHPIN and A ROD STYLE raced evenly between foes. WHODAYBOB raced between foes, went to the five path on the far turn but couldn't bid and faded. MR BOBBY BOUCHER trailed.
