Chart notes
MOSQUITO FLEET vied for the lead from two wide down the backstretch, moved up to engage the leader at the half mile marker then took the lead at the three furlong marker and drew off in the stretch. EL ORIENTE (CHI) raced off the pace on the inside in the second tier through the turn then moved to three wide in upper stretch and gave the late kick to be second best. HELAIRE raced off he pace from three wide in the second tier around the turn then tipped out to four wide but was outkicked and was along for the show. POPULIST was roused to the lead from the inside then was headed at the three furlong marker and chased the leader to the eighth pole and tired. GIMME SOME MO was allowed to settle down the backstretch and made a mild rail bid on the turn but was never a threat. THUNDER ROAD was void of the early speed and trailed throughout.
