Chart notes
SONET'S NAME tracked the pace, gained position two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, edged ahead at the furlong marker, then drove clear in the late going. LAWN DART hopped slightly at the start, moved up to be well placed and inside, angled out through the turn three and four wide, came four wide into the stretch, then lacked the needed late. WATERLOO SUNSET unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, angled in and closed well for the show. TALK MUCH vied for the early lead on the inside, gained a short lead into the stretch, then flattened and held a share. TIZ PROMISING RVF passed a tiring rival. LADY IN HEELS set a pressured pace off the rail, then faded into the stretch.
