Chart notes
OUT MY DEAR was fractious in the gate, stalked the pace down the backstretch, rallied four wide through the turn, rallied under left handed urging in the five path to make the lead near the furlong marker then finished full of run to win going away under a strong hand ride. DRIVEN FOR SUCCESS broke outward, pressed the pace three wide through the turn, gained a narrow advantage before the furlong marker then was no match for the winner. JETTIN PEGASUS trailed down the backstretch, swung wide and closed a gap late six wide. NO TWOWAYSABOUTIT failed to menace. TWENTY FOUR KARAT pressed the early pace along the rail, was brushed at the seven sixteenths pole. slipped through the inside to make the lead before a half then weakened in deep stretch. CAUSE OF LOVE was no factor. RAINBOW SHIP away alertly, set a pressured pace two wide down the backstretch, brushed a rival nearing the turn, kept on between rivals, checked nearing the quarter pole and dropped out of it.
