Chart notes
PEMAQUID PETE set the pace on the inside, shook clear down the backstretch, increased his margin through the second turn, then drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. DOWAGIAC CHIEF stalked the pace on the outside, angled in and tracked the leader through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, then closed the gap on the winner late. Q F SEVENTY FIVE mid pack, held position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch, evened out and held the show. VAN allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through on the two path into the stretch and got up for a share. CAMINO DE SANTIAGO was never involved. HEY PADRE well placed and off the rail, faded through the second turn.
