HOP AWAY HOTTIE forced the pace three wide up the backstretch, continued in striking distance around the turn, came three wide into upper stretch, came under right handed pressure, sustained a steady bid, then kicked in gamely with a sixteenth left tor run, surged to the wire and got up in time. DREAMIN IT UP set a pressured pace up the backstretch and around the turn, shook free at the head of the lane, widened to a clear advantage then got caught in final strides. ANCHORS AND SPURS applied pace pressure to DREAMIN IT UP up the backstretch, continued to force the issue around the turn, could not move on for the lead in upper stretch but ran on and secured a share. CUPIDS SWEETY raced off the top trio in the opening quarter, continued four wide in range around the turn, swung four paths wide into upper stretch and lacked a needed rally. S C SKYLARS EMPIRE raced off the early pace, was ridden along the inside around the turn then angled out and had no response.
