Chart notes
SMOKEY HARBOR prompt the early leader from the outside, dug in deep stretch and prevailed under all out pressure. FAHAN was off slowly, raced from the inside near the three eighths pole, shifted to the outside in the upper lane, drifted deep stretch and finished gamely to the wire. HOT LE ROY stalked the pace, challenged three deep near the five sixteenths pole and weakened a bit in the final stages. GOTTATAKEHIMTO raced at the back of the pack early, moved up three wide around the far turn and had no response in the drive. CHIEF KIMOSABI raced from the far outside in the stretch run and lacked a bid. TIME TO MEDDLE broke through the gate pre-race, set the early pace, collared near the three eighths pole and was done early.
