Chart notes
TIDEWATER , taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, saved ground around the turn while stalking the pace, found ample room along the rail inside SMITTEN ENOUGH to take command in mid stretch then drew off under brisk urging. HAPPY JAUNT lacked speed, moved to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. STAR SHOPPING showed no speed, swung to the six path in upper stretch and rallied. ODINSON chased the pace while off the inner rail around the turn, steadied and altered course in lacking clear room near the eighth pole and failed to recover. SMITTEN ENOUGH sped to the early lead, was well off the inner rail in the stretch and gave way. THUNDER LAD raced inside horses and was no factor. LITTLE LANCE , wide turning for home, was outrun. HE'S ORIENTATE , three wide chasing the pace around the turn, gave way.
