Chart notes
HARDMONEYMUCHACHOS grabbed the lead and moved inside, pressured by SYNTACTIC up the backstretch and far turn, held a short lead over that rival into the final furlong, cleared a sixteenth out and held gamely while drifting out a bit. MOESAHANDFUL bumped twice with inner rival at the start, stalked behind the leader on the inside, moved a bit off the rail in the lane, finished willingly, had to alter slightly late and gained second. SYNTACTIC stalked in the two path around the first turn, press the pace on the backstretch and far turn, stayed on to the sixteenth pole and faltered late. BIG DRINKER coaxed from the gate, tracked in the two path, coaxed along past the half-mile pole, driven three wide into the lane and flattened in the late stages. POTENTIAL SPAM bumped twice in the beginning, reserved along the inside, moved out in the middle stages, went four then three wide on the far turn and came up empty in the lane.
