Chart notes
GRAY'S FABLE pursued from midpack along the inside, tracked in the two path around the far turn, swung out to the six path to take aim outside of the leaders in upper stretch, ranged up and wrestled an advantage at the furlong grounds, then held from an inner persistent rival. RECKONING FORCE tracked two to three wide around the first turn, ranged up in the five path entering the lane, bid along with an outer rival reaching midstretch, but got outkicked passing the furlong grounds, fought on gamely thereafter but was kept at bay. GEORGIE W set a clear pace, dug in to resist outer challenges while in the three path in upper stretch, got bested by a pair of them at the furlong grounds and secured show. DEER DISTRICT stalked outside of the clear leader, bid in the four path in upper stretch, vied as an outer pair joined the fray nearing midstretch, got outkicked by them at the furlong grounds and yielded. GENTLE SOUL rated at the rear two wide, shifted from the three path to the five path while between horses entering upper stretch, and moved up. EL KABONG saved ground well back to no avail. CATHKIN PEAK (IRE) tracked along the inside, chased in the two path entering the lane and gave way. RISK MANAGER was slow into stride, trailed along the inside, tipped to the four path entering the lane and failed to factor. AMERICAN DIAMOND laid off of the pace in the two to three path, drifted out to the five to six path in upper stretch and faded.
