Chart notes

SKIMBLE SHANKS was bumped at the start, settled early two wide on the first turn, moved to the inside entering the far turn, moved out leaving the fiv sixteenths to launch his rally, came five wide off the turn and made a bid to edge away in the final sixteenth to prove best under a drive. AMPERSAND was off slowly, then moved up on the outside, made a three wide bid off the turn to gain a short lead by the furlong marker but could not go with the winner in the final sixteenth while being clearly second best. GURT'S WARRIOR broke in and bumped a rival at the start, vied for the lead two wide and then pressed the pace three to two wide, made a two wide bid by the quarter pole to gain a short lead, then was headed by the furlong marker and faded, stayed on to best the rest. ROCKIN THE PALACE vied for the lead on the inside and set the pace on the backstretch, then was headed on the far turn and weakened in the lane. COPPERHEAD CREEK was allwoed to settle on the inside and angled out in the lane and weakened. CRITICAL THINKING chased the pace three to two wide and tired.
