MISS SPRINGSTEEN chased the leader into the stretch, closed willingly under left handed urging in the six path through deep stretch and was along in time. WHISKEY DIAMOND sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set all the pace then couldn't handle the winner in the final stages while hanging on for second in the four path. EXTRA CRAFTY unhurried inside, closed a gap late inside the top pair of rivals. CRYSTAL M went evenly. HALO EFFECT was no factor. SHAKA'S LYRIC trailed.
