ZVEREV bumped an inner rival at the start, pressed outside of the leader and from the three path, vied in the two path around the far turn, wrestled an advantage leaving upper stretch and drove clear with a sixteenth to go. WEST HOLLYWOOD set the pace in the two path as an outer rival applied pressure, tucked to the rail down the backstretch, vied with his outer counterpart around the far turn, sparred through upper stretch, but was headed nearing midstretch, failed to sustain the battle at the sixteenth pole and held place. DEGREE OF RISK broke a beat slow and was bumped by an outer rival leaving the gates, settled at the rear along the inside, launched progress inside of rivals into the far turn, shifted three wide turning for home before tipping to the four path entering the lane to take aim outside of the leaders, but only managed to chase while delaying changing leads until midstretch, closed in on place to bid passing the sixteenth pole but was denied and missed. STROKE OF MIDNIGHT laid off of the pace a bit off the inside, then two to three path around the far turn before swinging to the five path in upper stretch, and moved up. CAROOM brushed an inner rival at the start, raced at the rear two wide, shifted to the four path around the far turn, fanned six wide in upper stretch and failed to factor. MR MCGREGOR laid close up along the inside before settling to stalk around the first turn, but only managed to chase the leaders through upper stretch before fading. UNO MAS BOURBON tracked along the inside, then two wide around the far turn and gave way. BERRETTINI brushed with an outer rival at the start, pulled forwardly in the four to five path around the first turn, pressed outside of rivals down the backstretch, but weakened into the far turn and was eased and taken wide turning for home.
