HEY ROXY asked a bit leaving to maintain inside position, dueled, larger lead when straightened for home, rated then was roused midway on the final bend, clear, enough left to just last. COZZOLANI off leaders while along the inside, continued to save ground second turn, steered out for the drive, finished up willingly to miss. COMPETITIVE SPIRIT forwardly placed while off the inside, asked along late backstretch, fell back in some traffic second turn, dropped inside and came back to earn the show, no threat to the top two. FACESTER dueled up front early outside the winner, fell back a bit off that one while still applying pressure the middle three furlongs, faded through the stretch, missed the show while between horses at the wire. EXCETERA last away, trailed early, came four wide for the drive, displayed a modest amount of late energy while widest of the second flight, not enough for the show. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
