Chart notes
ROYAL THUNDER gave chase outside through the backstretch, raced close in the three path on the turn, dueled to the lead mid-stretch and edged clear nearing the wire. STEVETHEVANDRIVER set a pressured pace from the seven sixteenths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn, but was met mid-stretch and relented later yards. E J'S REVENGE gave chase off the rail down the backstretch, moved to the inside past the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn at the rail and ran evenly in the lane. ISLAND D'LITE chased, raced near the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the stretch. GRAND FIBER chased inside, steadied at the rail passing the five sixteenths pole, angled to the five path on the turn, left the turn outside and finished evenly. DAN THE MAN CAN engaged in close early chase, raced in the three path on the turn then flattened in the lane. THE ILLUSIONIST hesitated at the break, gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. LOADED SNIPER saved ground. BUBBA G gave chase outside and rounded the turn about the five path. INSIDE RISK gave chase and rounded the turn about the six path. The Stewards reviewed, then rejected, a claim of foul against the rider of E J's Revenge for alleged interference past the five sixteenths pole, lodged by the rider of Grand Fiber.
