Chart notes
IRISH RILL raced off the pace inside, moved up two wide on the turn, rallied inside in the stretch, commenced a strong late run on the rail and was up late for the win. LEO MONTE raced off the pace, moved up two wide on the far turn, bid nearing the quarter pole, dueled with OHANA EMPIRE, gained command in midstretch, dug in gamely in the two path and was caught late. OHANA EMPIRE stalked two wide, made a strong early bid nearing the far turn, took over, then dueled with LEO MONTE, yielded and dug in to hold third. PAL was outrun early, advanced on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, closed late and missed for third. GOLD TRUST was outrun early, moved up three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and gained mildly. HERE COMES BILLY raced off the rail, off the pace, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. JUST COMPLY showed good early speed to set the pace, opened up a commanding margin, then gave way on the far turn. ALPHA COMPANY tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn and gave way. STEEL PIER was outrun.
