Chart notes
CEL'S STAR was forwardly placed in early stages, edged up and vied outside of ANNIEWAY U WANT IT around the turn, took a slim lead a furlong out then edged away. ANNIEWAY U WANT IT sped to the lead at the start and set the early pace, took on the challenge of CEL'S STAR leaving the backstretch, vied inside into the stretch, could not match strides with eventual winner past the eighth pole but stayed on for second best. TOMMY'S CRUE raced in the second flight late on the backstretch, was ridden along two wide around the turn, sustained bid through the lane and cleared a share. GARBO SPEAKS raced in contention through the backstretch, hustled up along the inside into the lane, ran on to the furlong marker then flattened out. CONFETTI BETTY raced in the back, chased two wide around the turn, shifted four paths wide at the head of the lane and lacked a needed rally. CLIMB TO GLORY raced off the second flight near the half mile marker, chased four wide around the turn, came five paths wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. HARD SPIRITS was not too far back in early stages, hustled along three wide around the turn then weakened in the lane.
