Chart notes
LIFFEY stalked the pace top pair, moved up three wide between into the upper stretch and finished well to edge clear late under strong encouragement. RUE CAMBON stalked the pace down the backstretch, raced three wide around the far turn and kept on gamely to the wire. MARTYNAS' JOY pressed the early leader two deep from the outside, led briefly and gave way grudgingly late. LA FANTASMA set a pressured early pace near the rail and weakened in the drive. SPIRIT IN THE MIST (FR) was allowed to settle early, dropped in to saved ground around the far turn into the upper lane and had no response. VAI GATTINA stumbled at the break, raced off the early pace, was five wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. GATA was off slowly, dropped to the back of the pack early and lacked a bid. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
