Chart notes
APRICOT BRANDY set the pace while racing two-wide, responded when challenged by MUMBLES BROCKMAN entering the stretch and drew clear late. MUMBLES BROCKMAN was allowed to settle, moved up along the inside on the turn, angled out two-wide to offer a bold bid entering the stretch but was unable to stay with the winner late. CANDIED JOULE was close-up early racing between horses, steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths pole while in tight, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. HEY BARMAID prompted APRICOT BRANDY early from along the inside, steadied leaving the seven-sixteenths pole while getting out crossing behind the winner and finished willingly. CAPO SORELLA was reserved off the early pace, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole but lacked a rally. SETTLER'S COVE was unhurried early, angled out to be five-wide nearing the quarter pole but failed to menace.
