Chart notes
GILD THE LILY settled off the pace while racing three wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, moved to front in midstretch and drew clear late. SHOW OFF stumbled at the start then bumped SIMPLY STRIKING, saved ground off the early pace, edged closer three wide around the far turn, swung out turning for home and rallied outside. BUBBLY CHAMPAGNE stalked the pace three wide, took a short lead in upper stretch but weakened through the final furlong. CATHOLIKA raced off the pace two wide, went four wide around the far turn, floated wider turning for home, continued on the left lead in the lane and passed tiring rivals. QUALIFICATA set the pace in the two path and tired in the drive. SIMPLY STRIKING was bumped at the start, saved ground in range and faded in the lane. HOCKEY pressed the pace two wide and faltered after six furlongs.
