Chart notes
AMERICAN BOUND took quick control of the pace while tapering toward the inside, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. VALID REASON chased, raced close in the three path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. JAMESTOWN ROAD chased through the backstretch, raced at the rail on the turn and dueled to take third later yards. SISTER'S DUTY engaged in close early chase, rounded the turn off the rail and was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. TAKE CHARGE ERICA gave chase, raced close near the rail on the turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. FORTES chased inside, steadied at the rail leaving the five sixteenths pole, angled out through the turn, entered the stretch about the five path and showed little more. AT THE HALF chased through the backstretch, entered the turn about the five path, angled to the eight path toward the head of the lane and showed little more. TRUE HEIRESS became a bit restless in the gate and was unprepared for the break. CALIENTE RUM chased, raced in the four path into the turn, was carried out toward the head of the lane and weakened.
