RUBY CANTU was bumped at the start, then moved along the inside heading into the first turn to track the pace down the backstretch in the two path, came out three wide leaving the far turn while under coaxing, dug in gamely in the late stretch to take over the lead and held on well to the end to prove best. TAPS MISTRESS was forwardly placed in the two path headed into the first turn, then pressed the leader down the backstretch before moving up to duel with the pace setter on the far turn, gained command briefly in the early stretch then was out finished by RUBY CANTU in the final yards and was second best. SHY ANN broke outwardly then bumped rival, showed the way from the inside into the first turn while being pressed by an outer foe, then sparred with said rival on the far turn and into the early stretch, was in a long drive then gave way in the final yards. CAYMAN HOT was impeded at the start, was allowed to settle in the two path in the second pack of rivals, then came out four wide leaving the bend while being roused, then rallied in the stretch but it was too little too late. HIGHLANDER HONEY was forwardly placed along the inside into the first turn to track the pace down the backstretch, urged eagerly on the far turn and lacked rallying in the home stretch. RON'S LAVENDER was unhurried early, saved ground at the back of the field down the backstretch, then bid while three wide on the far turn and did not fire in the stretch. BELMIRA was bumped on both sides at the start, then raced between fields along the inside down the backstretch, was in a mild drive on the far turn and lacked rallying in the late stretch. MISS ROSE broke inwardly and bumped foe, then settle along inside in the back field of rivals, then rallied mildly leaving the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. LOVE ME DO was allowed to settle while two wide in the back field of rivals, then bid mildly on the far turn and was no threat. ANGEL IN THE AIR settled towards the back in the two path and was no menace. COUNTY SLUGGER stalked the pace early while three wide, dropped back, then bore out seven to eight wide on the far turn and was no menace. MYRTLE BEACH tucked along the inside towards the back of the back, then trailed on the far turn and failed to rally.
