Chart notes
ON THE DOT tracked close up on the inside, saved ground on the turn, waited for room at the quarter pole, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied three wide in the stretch run, closed steadily outside rivals and was along in time. KEEP ON ROCKIN pressed the pace racing close up two wide, bid on the turn, dueled with SOFSTER into the stretch, gained a short lead past midstretch, then dug in gamely to the finish. SOFSTER set the pace on the inside, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely and then yielded. NO FAKE raced off the pace inside, steadied leaving the chute and again at the half mile marker, then raced inside on the turn and rallied mildly inside in the stretch. LISA'S PALACE raced four wide early, stalked outside, bid three wide on the turn and tired. ELOPER raced two wide off the pace and failed to threaten. LA SANTA CLARA was off slowly, made a four wide middle move into contention, bid four wide on the turn and faded. EMMA'S ABI raced between rivals, checked in tight at the half mile marker and dropped back.
