Chart notes
BEAUTY OF THE SEA raced inside, then was in tight, hit the rail leaving the chute and steadied, tracked inside on the turn, waited for room behind rivals in upper stretch, found room on the rail past the eighth pole, closed willingly inside and drew clear for the win. QUEEN OF THE MUD (IRE) stalked close up between rivals, continued two wide on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch and closed well late for second. BOSSERATI showed good speed inside, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run, yielded and lost second late. DRIFAROS raced off the pace inside, moved up inside on the turn, angled out entering the stretch and rallied late. ALL THAT MAGIC showed early speed two wide, dueled on the turn, raced between rivals at the furlong marker and weakened. HOLLYWOOD WALK raced off the rail, off the pace and lacked a rally. VELIKIY trailed the field, went three wide on the turn and failed to threaten. FRAU DIABLO stalked three wide, chased on the turn and tired. LA TRAVIESA steadied between rivals leaving the chute, then raced off the pace inside and did not factor. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the incident leaving the chute, the race was declared official.
