Chart notes
TEMECULA laid off of the pace in the two to three path, swung out to the six path in upper stretch to take aim outside of the top pair, rallied bid in the final furlong, forged an advantage passing the sixteenth pole, got herded outwardly by an inner persistent rival, dueled and prevailed. BOOKIE BRENT prompted three deep, vied turning for home, dueled with an inner rival in the four path through upper stretch, wrestled an advantage in midstretch before an outer rival joined the fray in the final furlong, drifted out while getting headed by that one at the sixteenth pole, fought on gamely thereafter but was bested. BROWNSTONE was hustled forward after breaking a beat slow, vied inside of a pair of rivals around the turn, shifted out to the three path while dueling in upper stretch, sustained the battle through midstretch but yielded with a sixteenth to go. PED D'ORO tracked along the inside, came under strong urging shifting to the two path into the turn, chased into the lane and faded. MACAW vied for the lead two wide and between horses, but gave way entering the lane and faded.
