KALINE vied with PROUD LION for the early lead, shook that one off to open a clear lead nearing the quarter pole and increased his advantage. SURPRISE FASHION was forwardly placed while racing two-wide, angled out to be three-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished well for second in a steady effort. SOCAL RED stumbled at the start then was reserved off the pace, moved up four-wide nearing the quarter pole and was gaining ground late. MARKSMAN ON TARGET broke out to bump TUMAC MOUNTAIN then was unhurried, moved u[ three-wide nearing the quarter pole and improved his position. PLAYOFF BOUND disputed the early pace while three-wide and weakneed. TUMAC MOUNTAIN was bumped at the start by MARKSMAN ON TARGET then saved ground chasing the pace but lacked a rally. SPROSTON was allowed to settle early while racing four-wide and failed to threaten. PROUD LION vied for the early lead from along the outside and tired.
