Chart notes
LAST CALL ZONDLO broke in a bit, pressed MR. MACHUPICCHU from outside, dueled leaving the bend, put away inner rival midstretch and drew away under left handed urging and strong handling. WHISKEYINATEACUP broke inward, chased leaders two wide into the turn, eased to the three path around the bend, moved out in the drive, closed well in the late stages and gained second. MR. MACHUPICCHU hit the gate and broke in, went up to take the front while under pressure from LAST CALL ZONDLO, maintained a short lead then dueled leaving the bend, lost command in upper stretch, yielded to the winner in midstretch and lost second. IT'S THIRSTY TIME broke in, tracked along the inside, lost ground on the turn and failed to menace. VALENTINES CANDY trailed in the early going, traveled two wide leaving the backstretch, moved to the rail around the bend and was always outrun.
