Chart notes
NATURAL STAR stalked outside, moved up a bit on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, drifted out wide passing the furlong marker, took over and pulled away under urging. WHO KNOWS was off slowly and steadied, raced off the pace inside, came four wide into the lane and rallied for second. SIR ROBERT HALL dueled two wide for command, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely to midstretch and weakened late. MEROKEE raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up between rivals at the quarter pole and rallied mildly inside. MORETHANACONQUEROR raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. COUNT DADDY trailed the field and passed tired rivals. CHIEF ENGINEER dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and faded in the stretch. ELLIE'S BOYFRIEND tracked inside in the early stages, chased on the turn and faded.
