Chart notes
CEE'S THE IMAGE broke alertly and assumed command away from the start, set the early pace while well handled nearing the half-mile marker, led into the turn and set the moderate pace from the three path approaching the quarter pole, dug in into upper stretch and held foes at bay heading to the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth and edged clear in deep stretch. LITTLE LADY LOU stumbled at the start and was away slowly, recovered to be forwardly placed in the early running, stalked the moderate pace from the outside and was well placed approaching the turn, advanced along the turn and pressed the pacesetter four wide nearing the quarter marker, chased CEE'S THE IMAGE into the stretch, was outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth and stayed on in deep stretch to secure the place honors. HAPPY CHAPPY prominent away from the start, ceded the early lead and stalked the moderate pace from the inside heading to the half-mile marker, maintained a two wide path into the turn and gained ground approaching the quarter pole, maintained an inside position into the stretch and continued her rally nearing the furlong marker, could not keep pace with the winner into the final sixteenth, was outfinished for second in deep stretch and just held for third at the wire. OUTER SUNSET rated off of the early pace, was guided three to four wide into the turn and tracked the moderate pace nearing the quarter marker, angled out into the stretch and ran evenly to the furlong pole, closed well into the final sixteenth and just missed for third on the wire. KEEPYOURPRANCEON threw her head at the start and was off slowly, raced well behind the rest of the field in the early going, was guided to the four path entering the turn and trailed heading to the quarter pole, maintained an outside path into the stretch, showed good late interest but could not threaten the leaders into deep stretch. GALWAY SHAWL broke a step slowly, rushed up in the early stages and chased the moderate pace from between rivals heading to the half-mile marker, raced two to three wide into the turn and lost ground at the quarter pole, was outrun into the stretch and tired in the final furlong.
