Chart notes
GRAINGER COUNTY showed speed from the inside, had the lead on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch prevailed. QUARKY was off slow, moved up on the turn and vied through the stretch but was outgunned. ANARCHY was up close but the rider lost his irons on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch held show. STORMY SOUL was away alertly, saved ground on the turn and finished well. UNION COLONEL tracked the early leaders and was a factor on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch evened out. TWO YEAR CONTRACT was well back and closed the gap on the turn but was no threat. MUSICAL STRIDE was off the pace and showed little in a dull effort.
