TAKEMETOTHEBEACH rated outside the leader, gained position through the second turn, bid three wide outside of that one, then made a steady gain, shook clear and drew off the final furlong. JENNY LIND allowed to settle, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and closed well for the place. VICTORY BADGE unhurried, moved up three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, then flattened late and held the show. ANIPPE tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, came through inside, angled out for racing room and could not gain. VACCINA sprinted away from the field quickly, drew off down the backstretch, then faded in the lane. CARINA NEBULA was never involved.
