BIG DIG pressed the pace in the four path, bid at the three-eighths pole, was clear at the quarter pole and held sway under mild urging. SICILIAN PRINCESS stalked the pace between rivals, bid on the far turn but couldn't get to the winner. YOU KUUIPO was squeezed back at the start, bid in the four path at the half-mile pole and faltered in the stretch. WHY WASTE WORDS stalked the pace inside, took back at the three-eighths pole, bid belatedly in the four path and then angled to the rail.
