Chart notes
COMBAT HOOFS was away alertly to set the pace towards the inside, then turned back a bid by the quarter pole and drew off in the llane to prove much the best under a drive. MAJESTY'S FREEDOM stalked the early pace in between rivals, made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but flattened out while being clearly second best. MARTINI'S BANK was fractious in the gate, tracked the pace four wide and weakened, held show award. MOONSHINE WARRIOR stalked the early pace from the inside and weakened, missed show award. FIREBALL EXPRESS was climbing early, checked by the five eighths marker and dropped back on the turn. FLEETING EMBER chased the pace in between rivals and stopped.
