THERE GOES MY HERO settled off the quick early pace while racing just out from the rail in the run down the backstretch, rallied smartly from along the rail entering the final turn, slipped through along the rail after straightening for home to assume command, and held off a late surge by BARNEY GOOGLE to prevail. BARNEY GOOGLE unhurried early while dropping well off the early pace while saving ground along the inside entering the backstretch, launched his bid one out from the rail entering the final turn, and closed full of run five wide in the drive to just miss. C C SUNRISE away well and stalked the leaders into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and closed willingly four wide in the drive to garner a share. LEFT THE BAR broke sharply and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backside, and into the final turn, drifted off the rail entering the lane, and faded in deep stretch. WICKED NIGHT away alertly and tracked the pacesetter into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, chased the leader two wide through the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while being taken in hand late. SLEW'S DA BOSS settled well off the early pace while saving ground at the rail, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, was steadied hard while lacking room in deep stretch and lost position late. Following the running of this race there was a jockey's claim of foul. The rider of WICKED NIGHT lodged a claim of foul against the rider of C C SUNRISE for alleged interference in mid stretch. After review the claim of foul was disallowed, and no change was made to the original order of finish
