Chart notes
MCCULLOUGH raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, rallied with good energy to take command seventy yards from the finish and prevailed by a neck on the wire. BADGE OF WAR raced three then two wide in closest aim of the leader coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and collared the leader a sixteenth out, dug in under threat and was caught with seventy yards to the finish and fought on to the end. FOUR TOP tracked just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, cut the corner into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. JOHN THE BAPTIST chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish. PAXSATIONAL established the front and crossed to show the way along the inside past the stands the initial time, settled in hand along the rail under the watchful eye of BADGE OF WAR to the outside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a sixteenth out, then weakened in the very late stages. POKER JOKER broke in at the start and traded a bump with PUJOL, chased three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, continued three wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. PARKWAY chased just off the inside through the first turn and then three to four wide down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four wide for home and passed tired rivals to the wire. RIVERWALK three wide through the first turn, chased four then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung five to six wide into upper stretch, offered no response. SANDBORN broke a half a beat slow and got bumped at the start by the breaking inwards COBBLESTONE BRIDGE, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and made no impact. ASK ISAAC grew rank early when taken under restraint in the chute behind rivals, raced three wide through the first turn and then chased five then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths and bidding into prominence five-sixteenths from home, tipped five wide into upper stretch, couldn't sustain the momentum and weakened in the final eighth. COBBLESTONE BRIDGE broke in at the start bumping SANDBORN, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and weakened. PUJOL broke out a step at the start and traded a bump with POKER JOKER, chased along the inside through the first turn before tipping four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, came under coaxing just inside nine-sixteenths remaining, went four wide through the far turn and then six wide into upper stretch and proved no menace.
