TRIBAL IMPACT was forwardly placed while racing four-wide, caught MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY nearing the quarter pole then dueled with that one and prevailed narrowly. MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY came out at the start to bump HARD TO DENY then set the pace racing slightly removed from the rail, responded when challenged and held on gamely to lose narrowly. SMOOTH PAPA saved ground chasing the pace and finished well for third in a steady effort. NEW EVERY MORNING prompted the pace to the stretch while three-wide and weakened. HARD TO DENY was fractious prior to the start, then was bumped u MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY, had his rider lose the inside iron, the rider attempted to recover the iron but was unable to and failed to menace.
