Chart notes
MUNCEY saved ground while being unhurried, moved up strongly along the inside on the turn, angled out five-wide leaving the three-sixteenths pole and was up in the final strides. EXECUTIVE CHEF prompted the pace while racing four-wide, took the lead nearing the eighth pole but was unable to resist MUNCY in the late starges. SMILING GOODBYE was close up early while racing two-wide, steadied nearing the three-eighths pole in traffic, angled out to be three-wide into the stretch and finished well. LLOYDS LOGIC disputed the pace from along the inside into the stretch and weakened late. EL ALTO HOMBRE was reserved while racing along the outside, was five-wide the final quarter mile and finished willingly. OUR BOY ROY was allowed to settle, came three-wide into the stretch and improved his position. LANGSTON ROAD vied for the early lead while three-wide and tired. GOLDEN ALE settled in the middle of the field while racing two-wide and failed to seriously threaten. PETER FLIES set the pressured pace for three furlongs and gave way.
