Chart notes
I'MBIGGERTHANILOOK set the pace in the two path, kicked clear in upper stretch and held safe while ridden out. LOU raced off the early pace, steadied near the seven-sixteenths marker, moved up in the two path around the turn, angled four wide turning for home and ran on outside. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE prompted the pace three wide, bid nearing the quarter pole but flattened out in the stretch. ZIZKA had early speed between foes, was impeded near the seven-sixteenths pole, took some awkward strides, nearly unseating the rider, angled out into the four path while regaining the left iron, chased outside and stayed on evenly in the lane. TO THE MAX prompted the pace two and three wide, angled to the rail in upper stretch and faded. GREY SHADOW had her head turned at the start, raced off the pace two wide and never threatened. ROCKVILLE trailed inside, checked near the seven-sixteenths pole and was never involved. RUIZ JUNIOR clipped heels nearing the turn, lost the rider but stayed on his feet, completed the course riderless and walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT NEAR THE SEVEN-SIXTEENTHS POLE AND TOOK NO ACTION.
