Chart notes
CASTELLANA stalked three wide early on, bid two wide on the turn, took over, kicked clear turning for home and was kept to the task in the lane. TAVIN stalked close up early between rivals, was shuffled back slightly, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied between rivals, dug in and narrowly prevailed for the place spot. BUCKIN' LUCKY raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up four wide nearing the quarter pole, rallied outside in the final furlong and just missed for second. BORNFORGREATNESS raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and finished evenly on the rail. ARMY OF THOUGHTS showed early speed to set the pace, briefly dueled with the winner, then chased that rival on the turn and weakened. AMIRATI chased the pace and faded.
