ALMA'S PRINCESS applied pace pressure to FULL MOON BEACH while setting a soft early pace, edged up near the half mile marker and vied between for the lead, continued to battle for command outside FULL MOON BEACH around the turn, rival held a slight edge a furlong out, dug back in gamely and got up late. FULL MOON BEACH set a pressured but soft pace in the opening quarter, took on the challenge of outside duo near the half mile marker, continued to duel for the lead with ALMA'S PRINCESS into upper stretch, held a slim lead a furlong out then got edged in final strides. FARRAH FOWLER was forwardly placed entering the backstretch, moved up three wide to challenge for the lead at the half mile marker, vied briefly then chased up close around the final turn, could not keep pace in upper stretch and steadily weakened.
