Chart notes
VERTISALUTE had speed from the start three wide, drew on even terms for the lead midway on the turn, drifted to the seven path entering the stretch, gained a narrow lead at the furlong marker, drifted in under right handed urging to the two path and proved best by a narrow margin. VAL'S TWINSTAR set the early pace along the rail dueled through the turn and then length of the stretch and just missed in a game effort. THIRTY SOMETHING stalked the pace through the turn, drifted to the middle of the racetrack giving up ground at the top of the stretch and came on again late for a minor share. THELMA LUCILLE offered a mild bid in the three path in upper stretch then leveled off. BOLD RUBY prompted the early pace two wide, matched strides through the turn and weakened in the stretch. A P'S RUNAWAY DIVA was no threat. CAT'S PURSUIT was no factor. SOMETHING LUCKY settled wide and trailed.
