Chart notes
MARQUITOS M trailed, into the turn, circled his field rapidly four wide under left handed urging and got up in the final strides. PLUM TUFF stalked the pace into the stretch, rallied three wide to make the lead before the furlong marker shook clear late and just missed hanging on. VECCHI pressed the pace two wide into the stretch and faded late. WHY KENNY WHY failed to menace. GOTTOMAKEITHAPPEN sprinted to the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace along the inside into the stretch then weakened late. BUCKEYE MIKE well placed, failed to respond. EQUITY CAT was no factor. TURKODANCER was outrun.
