SEA URCHIN mid pack and off the rail, angled in and moved up through the second turn, angled four wide into the stretch, shook clear, then drew off and drifted in under steady pressure. MAGNUS EFFECT tracked the pace well back, angled out to the two path and moved up through the second turn, angled four wide into the stretch, drifted in and closed well for the place. ELEVATED CAUSEWAY well placed and outside, gained a striking position two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch, then could not sustain the bid, flattened and held the show. MR. YASUDA unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and got up for a share. LUCIOS ZORAN hard to rated, sprinted away to a long lead, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. IMPOSING RULER was never involved. WARRIOR'S SPECIAL was no factor.
