Chart notes
MOONLIGHTNWINE saved ground while being allowed to settle, moved up along the inside on the turn, slipped through during the drive and was up in the final sixteenth to win going away. HANDR'SDREAM stalked the pace while racing two-wide, moved up three-wide to take the lead nearing the eighth pole but was unable to resist the winner late. MAHI MAHI was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. MISTER MAFIOSO was close-up early racing along the inside, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. DEFENSE WINS dropped back early while saved ground and was gaining late. LIE AND DENY was reserved early while racing three-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch but lacked a response. CODE CHARLIE saved ground setting the pace, drifted out leaving the three-sixteenths pole and tired.
