Chart notes
STEADY JOHN stalked the pace, made a two bid near the quarter pole to challenge and edged away late to prove best under strong handling. CORONOVA pressed the early leader from the outside, had command into the far turn, dug in near the eighth but was no match to finish second best. GRAHMALAMADINGDONG void of early speed, raced three deep into the stretch, angled out near the eighth pole and moved up to improve position. K'S STORM READY set a pressured early pace from the inside and weakened. WORD FOR WORD was bumped, shuffled at the start, trailed early on, moved up from the inside into the upper stretch and had not enough. ORANGE JUICE stalked the pace from the outside, raced three deep near the quarter pole and weakened. BURTON WAY had a two to three wide run and no response. HIS RIGHTS raced six wide into the upper stretch and lacked a rally.
