Chart notes
UP N GONE unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field for the first half mile, rallied on the turn sweeping up to engage the leaders in upper stretch, quickly took command, drifted in through the lane while maintaining a clear lead to the wire. SUNDAY BREEZE reserved off the pace to the far turn, rallied five wide on the far turn to loom at the top of the lane, took up slightly in the lane from behind the winner and finished willingly as second best. GOOD AND STOUT prompted the pace to the final bend, took the lead nearing the quarter pole and failed to sustain the rally. IRON IN THE FIRE set a pressured pace to the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. JEFFROW trailed most of the way and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. MR. FOUR SEVENS was caught wide on the first turn, raced on well placed down the backside from five wide and lacked a closing response. PESO PESADO chased the leaders from the fence into the far turn and came up empty. BRITTANY'S DREAM stalked the pace for three-quarters and flattened out down the lane. THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF THE RUNNER UP CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE BY THE WINNER IN THE STRETCH RUN, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
