Chart notes
MIDNIGHT MAMMOTH set the pace two then three wide under pressure from MUBTADAA, headed by that rival at relinquished the lead at the three-eighths pole, fought back two wide to the stretch, regained the lead midstretch and drove clear in deep stretch. MUBTADAA pressed the pace from outside three then four wide around the first turn, moved up on even terms and then put a head in front on the second bend, fought three wide into the lane, relinquished the lead midstretch, shifted from right handed encouragement in the final sixteenth and yielded to the winner. BIRTH OF COOL stalked the top pair four then five wide early, navigated the far turn three then four wide and weakened down the lane. BRIGHT LEAF bobbled a bit leaving the gate, tucked inside at the back, trailed two wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. LOW EXPECTATIONS bobbled at the start, tracked two then three wide on the first turn, stayed off the rail up the backstretch, came five wide into the lane and could not offer a response when called upon. SINGLE TRACK MIND (IRE) unhurried in the beginning racing wide around the first turn, came six wide into the lane, eased in the drive and walked off.
