Chart notes
BISCUITS AND GRITS had good early speed three wide, dropped back on the turn, came on again in the eight path under left handed urging through deep stretch and got up in time by the narrowest of margins. HENRY THE CAT set the pace for a quarter, gave up the advantage, chased the leader into the stretch, regained the lead in the final stages and just missed hanging on. MIDNIGHT VOYAGE rushed up between horses to make the lead inside the leader past the half mile pole, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. OAKEN well placed, failed to respond. GOLDEN MONEY failed to menace. UPGRADE AL was no factor. RUMBLE STRIP RON close up along the inside, had no rally.
