Chart notes
HIGHTAIL COWBOY led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and held clear to the finish. AWESOME FAMILY tracked the leader on the inside through the early going, navigated the turn from the two path and chased on to the wire. BIRDIE MACHINE raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the three path and improved position mildly in the stretch. ASTRONAUT OSCAR chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the four path and kept on in the lane. MASTERPIECE DAY stalked the pace setter between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four path and weakened in the stretch. DIRECT ACTION raced off the pace on the outside through the opening stages, continued around the bend in the four path and made no bid. BOSS NINE raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
