Chart notes
OUT OF STARS was unhurried early, moved up along the inside on the turn, swung out to come six-wide into the stretch and finished strongly to be up in the final sixteenth to win going away. CHROME'S BEST COPY dueled with DRINKUP BUTTERCUP while racing two-wide, responded during the drive but was unable to resist the winner but held on gamely for second. DRINKUP BUTTERCUP dueled with CHROME'S BEST COPY from along the inside into the stretch and held on well for third in a steady effort. PARKER'S FIFTEEN was allowed to settle early, moved out to be four-wide nearing the three-eighths pole, offered a bid entering the stretch and then flattened out. VHAGAR was reserved off the early pace, came five-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten. LITTLEQUEENOFMEAN disputed the early pace while racing three-wide and tired.
